This summer, I had the opportunity to photograph an elopement in the North Cascades at Lake Diablo. I absolutely love when I get to take outdoor elopement photos in the North Cascades so I was beyond excited when Audrey and Robert contacted me to capture their photos.

Over the last couple years, I have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest; in particular the more rainy, “moody” days and the evergreen forests. It is not every day that you get to capture a friend’s wedding. Tianna and Gage hired me to photograph their wedding at Q'emiln Park in Post Falls, Idaho this last summer. I had known Tianna’s family growing up most of my life and so I was very excited to be asked to photograph their wedding.

The Nikon Z6 II was released at the beginning of November in 2020. I can say this was my first time ever pre-ordering a camera as I was very excited to have it along with the many upgrades it comes with. I have had the opportunity to use it a few times at weddings and shoots thus far and have gotten a pretty good idea of how it compares to the original Z6.

This summer, I had the opportunity to photograph an elopement in the North Cascades. The couple, Misty and Alfredo, hired me to come up to a remote mountain ski hut called the Cassal hut, which is owned by the company, Rendezvous Huts. It was a beautiful sunny day and the cabin was pretty amazing.

This summer, I had the opportunity to take wedding photos at Mont Lamm Events. The couple who hired me were named Ashley and Johnny and they were an absolute blast to work with. The day they got married on was sunny and absolutely perfect.

WeddingWire and The Knot are two of the most used wedding directories in the United States. Many brides turn to these websites to find their vendors all in one place, listed by location and price. As a photographer, one of the most common questions I hear in regard to online advertising is, “Is advertising on WeddingWire or the Knot worth it?” My answer? Maybe.
